Whale Bay

A green-sand cove on west Santa Cruz colored by olivine crystals, with a small relocated tortoise population nearby. The tortoises, from Pinzón Island, were likely left by whalers or early inhabitants. Marine iguanas, sea birds, and snorkeling round out a wet-landing visit.
