A dry-landing site on Isabela where a trail crosses a young lava field dotted with brackish lagoons. Flamingos, white-cheeked pintails, and gallinules feed in the lagoons, set against the backdrop of Cerro Azul volcano. Pioneer plants are slowly colonizing the flow.
