A sheltered bay on northwest Santiago that sheltered 17th- and 18th-century pirates repairing ships and taking on tortoises and firewood. Steep tuff cliffs above the cove hold seabird colonies, and the water is a good snorkeling spot with resident sea lions. Landings can be wet, so it is sometimes a cruise-by point.
