A horseshoe-shaped collapsed caldera in the northern Galápagos, known as the bird island for its large seabird colonies. Great Darwin Bay fills the flooded crater. Red-footed and Nazca boobies, frigatebirds, and storm petrels nest at Darwin Bay and Prince Philip’s Steps.
