A young volcanic island off east Santiago, known for Pinnacle Rock and a boardwalk climb to a panoramic summit. Galápagos penguins breed near Pinnacle Rock, and the twin beaches below are a common snorkeling stop. It is one of the most-visited sites in the archipelago.
